MUMBAI: Star Gold is set to premiere the movie ‘Makkhi’ on 29 December at 9 pm.
Translated into Hindi from the Telugu movie ‘Eega’, ‘Makkhi’ is crafted with state of the art photo animation and special effects by South Indian director S.S. Rajamouli.
Star Gold GM Hemal Jhaveri said, “From the emotion-packed Ferrari Ki Sawaari to the comedy riot Bol Bachchan, we have always focused on a mix of all genres with entertaining content. The television premiere of ‘Makkhi’ will be promoted across television, print media, social media and cinema houses in Hindi speaking markets and metros of Delhi and Mumbai to drive buzz for the premiere.
Produced by Reliance Entertainment, ‘Makkhi’ is a story of Jaani, (protagonist) a man in love with Bindu, his colleague. But his love life is interrupted by monstrous business tycoon Sudeep who kills Jaani. Jaani is reborn as a housefly to avenge his killer and protect his love. Ajay Devgn and Kajol have lent their voices for the movie.
