Why? Aren't Sony and Zee partners?

bcoz as per agreement they would b allowed to air it only on zee channels, including sony chs in agreement would require changes which zee would not have initiated at this point or producer won't have agreed

Yes they are but these new movies which are premiering on Sony and Zee will air on its sister channels once old movies which premiered before this movie will be telecasted .

This is not the reason bhai. Jersey is airing on zee cinema though originally it was scheduled to air on sony max. Basically premiering a movie on sony or zee depends on contract terms and conditions which broadcaster signs with banner or producer

Although this movie is just about average but due to its new, unique and interesting plot it may get good ratings. Though i feel zee is not promoting it well, they should have done some innovative promotion for this movie to build audience interest. They should have taken help of Sony who r just awesome in making great promos
