No it's not a new thing for max, max is doing this for many years, changing television premiere date multiple times, the old I remember shootout at wadala, date changed 3 times

Its actually a smart move. Many people have not watched Nikkamma Sony Max knows Nikkamma's chances of premiere ratings won't be that impressive. By airing it on a festival they would try to maximize its ratings to a large extent. Why would they air KGF 2 simultaneously on all their channels ? Because collectively they would gain more traction. Also they did same thing with Marjaavaan, Pagalpanti etc. Now both of those movies especially Marjaavaan has been a TRP buster for Sony

This site is mostly wrong for sony max, wah, max 2. Sony has a habit of changing schedule on that particular day. Normally second promo out always after first premiere, so let's see
