Not a new thing buddy, bollywood movies which have a wider appeal among viewers due to star power or other reasons r premiered on Star Gold while those not having similar appeal are mostly premieres on second flagship channel......Babli Bouncer, Gaslit, Freddy, Tumse Na Ho Paega, Jaane Jaan many other bollywood movies have had 1st airing on Star Gold 2.

This is a strategy followed by almost all networks which having 2 flagship movie channels which perform well on ratings chart, each movie channel of a network designs content strategy based on how they can cater to the concerned audience base while maintaining a good financial investment + returns ratio.....focus for main flasghsip channel is to air content which delivers highest viewership so as to command best ad rates while secondary flagship channels have slightly more eased out approach and secondary or FTA channels like Star Gold Romance / Star Utsav Movies have even more segmented approach while forming strategies

But it can do well on main star gold even 1st one was also hit on tv don't know why zee backed out may be Balaji was demanding high money which zee refused to pay
