As everyone has mentioned, if you are planning to buy HD TV, go for D2h HD. Upgrading to HD once you get HDTV is another investment, which can be avoided by buying HD STB now it self.
If you are planning to watch only SD Channels (which is a remote chance) stick with CRT. On LCD/LED, SD channels don't look good compared to CRT. As the image is scaled from 570i to 1080i/P (Native resolution of the panel) the image suffers.
