Its not a replacement channel......It's a Premium Sports Channel mainly focusing on Football and other Sports by Star Sports Network and it's cost alacarte rs.60 per month or rs.700 per annum from the broadcaster's end.Does Channel V cost this much before shutdown? So how SS3 is replaced by Channel V?

This SS3 channel will be available on Sports package and not on in any Base package just like Channel V. So it is not an replacement.

Star Network only using the same frequency , same satellite , same TP, same fec of Channel V and converted the whole process to SS3.

TATA|sky added SS3 very quickly comparing to other DTHs because they removed NEO sports and NEO prime in earlier days and as per TRAI rules these should be replaced with other Sports Channel only and withers the rule TS added this premium SS3 on their board, also they are in process to bring SS First in few days.

Other DTHs have to sign the contract with Star to bring SS3 on their board and hence that will take time as per respective DTH.

Whatever international Football Star telecasts is already slotted on Ss Select Channels. And if Indian Super League is going to be telecasted in hindi on Ss Hindi then what premium content is left for this channel?
