use your RTN or customer id to make a account in videocon d2h official website . http://www.videocond2h.com .

then go to my account and you are done.

Even for using the java app you need to register on their website.

I don't know about java app. But the android version I am using requires the registered phone number only.you can check details of your friends if you know the RTN . No need of any online registration.Again you can add or change second phone number with it.
