They didn't air Shaktimaan in Tamil on Podhigai. showing some sort of Karnatic music sorta program. Watching it in Hindi on DD National HD. 1 Hr show it seems.
 
anyone watching Old DD show along with his children? I mean anywatched watched the programme in 90's and watching now with children?

Yes we watched shaktimaan first episode today
Video quality is better than ramayan and mahabharat but audio quality is not up to the mark
I watched 55 inch 4k TV with Airtel digital TV connection so I get SD quality
