When colors Cineplex superhit channel added on Tataplay?

Still mostly dubbed south indian movies running on this channel, no chanflge in content strategy. Only when Colors Cineplex Superhits is available across pay tv platforms then we will see Colors Cineplex focus more on bollywood films. Colors Cineplex Bollywood should also b added across pay tv platforms, do not know why Tata Play not adding these channels. If some chs r available on DD Free Dish then broadcasters and pay tv operators should not b insecure about it, broadcasters should bring good content on pay tv chs to attract DD Free Dish viewers for upgrading to pay tv platforms. I see no basis why a channel available on DD Free Dish should not b added by pay tv operators as it serves no purpose or why pay tv operators should ask for these chs to b provided for free or demand carriage fee for them.

Even if major broadcasters drop their chs from DD Free Dish, i am certain that DD Free Dish subscriber base will continue growing at rapid base and smaller broadcasters will scale up on content and ratings.

Both broadcasters and pay tv operators need to understand how to cater to each audience (pay/free) and have a strategy to maintain balance as well as grow on both fronts.

Going forward if pay tv operators do not agree then just like Colors Cineplex Bollywood more chs will become DD Free Dish exclusive and broadcasters will gain from both pay tv and DD Free Dish platforms while Pay TV operators will b at loss. Also can they afford to not carry all chs which r available on DD Free Dish, answer is no.... At max they will boycott major chs

Colors Cineplex Superhits was supposed to air mix of bollywood, dubbed hollywood and dubbed south indian or other regional language films but it is just airing dubbed south indian movies all thru the day. Hardly 5 or 6 Bollywood Movies air on it in a week and sometimes even leas. So far no dubbed hollywood movie has been aired on this channel.

It featured among top 5 chs (in some regions) on ratings chart for 2 weeks post its launch but later on has not managed to reappear in the list. I think viacom18 should do something immediately to make colors cineplex superhits and colors cineplex bollywood available across platforms , then they should give more space to bollywood films across its channels so as to compete well with star/disney hindi movie chs.

Till Colors Cineplex Superhits and Bollywood r unavailable on major platforms, they should atleast start giving more slots to bollywood films on Colors Cineplex Superhits so that a right balance of bollywood and dubbed south indian movies is maintained for viewers who get access to all their 3 hindi movie channels while Colors Cineplex can continue catering to both dubbed and dubbed south indian cinema audience in equal measure as it is available everywhere

Star Gold, Star Gold 2 too airs lot many different bollywood and dubbed hollywood movies. UTV Action is ofcourse a dedicated channel for dubbed hollywood movies , star/disney is the only indian broadcaster to have such a channel
