MUMBAI: After showcasing real-life stories in ‘Umeed’, ‘Awaaz’ and ‘Chakravyuh’, Colors’ crime-based property ‘Code Red’ will now air a new sub-series titled ‘Talaash’. Premiering on 20 April at 10:30 pm, the new series will unravel the world of the paranormal.
Talking about the series, Colors programming head Manisha Sharma said, “Through ‘Code Red’, we have sensitised viewers to human frailties that impact society while empowering them to deal with their inner and outer demons.
After ‘Umeed’, ‘Awaaz’, and ‘Chakravyuh’, we are now announcing the ‘Talaash’ series, which highlights stories that form the basis of our social belief systems. Our aim is to bust ingrained popular myths passed along through generations.”
After tackling issues like suicide, violence against women and children and entrapment, ‘Code Red’ will now throw light on some of the most talked-about paranormal incidents from across the country. To lead viewers through the tales, Colors has roped in actors Anita Hassanandani and Shaleen Malhotra.
The series is produced by A Lost Boy Productions. A Lost Boy Productions producer Vikas Gupta said, “There are stories of oddities and abnormalities that have, over the years, become legends.
The ‘Talaash’ series promises to create an engaging proposition for viewers while building empathy for the wandering spirits.” While building empathy for the extraordinary in the minds of the viewers, the series explores why these paranormal energies exist.
