Comedy Central takes lead, AXN is third in English entertainment genre

MUMBAI: In Week 38 of BARC data, English entertainment was the only genre among the English space that witnessed a change in hierarchy. Comedy Central beat Zee Café to take the lead in the genre. Meanwhile, English movies, kids and infotainment genres witnessed no change in hierarchy.

For the week ended 25 September, Comedy Central saw a surge in viewership, thus leaping up to the No. 1 spot. Previous week’s leader Zee Café saw a significant drop in its ratings which made it slip down to second.

The third spot in the genre too witnessed a change, with AXN claiming the third spot. As a result, Colors Infinity SD slipped out of the top three during the week.
