It is now confirmed that Vishawaroopam will be telecasted on TV 8 hours before the theater release. Kamal has signed up four DTH operators to release the film. But the top two operators Tata Sky and Sun Direct are out of the race due to reasons unknown.

The film has been priced at Rs 1000 for a one time watch. Raaj Kamal Films will distribute the film in Tamil Nadu and Ekta Kapoor will do it in the North. Both the Hindi and the Tamil version will hit the screens on January 11th. But the Telugu version will release on a later date as there are two big Telugu release scheduled for January 11th.

Really sad, sun direct is strong in south area and tata sky is strong is urban area. I think it was better if they not signed deals with dish tv.

Why?:huh

Even they made a deal who will pay 1000.rs and watch??

they can pay just 50.rs-100.rs and watch in theater

Its Good Move By Tata Sky Because No One Would like to Pay Rs-1000 for watching Movie on TV.

@pinku dish tv has not strong in urban region and rural audience cant say 1000 for a movie. They will wait and watch when it come on tv channel. [because of this dish tv running only 2 Mod but tata sky running 4 showcase channels in even capacity constraint.]
