Today my set top box (RF HD box - 7 years old, which was under Box Service Warranty Plan) replaced with V-7000HDW.
Service person informed that only set top box is covered under warranty and not its power adapter & Remote control.
The service person asked Rs.550/- for power adapter & Remote control apart from visiting charges of Rs.200/- .
Totally I paid Rs.750/-, is this normal?

New HD RF Connection 1800rs (including one month Platinum HD Pack)
Without Antenna Only HD RF STB- 2189rs with One month HD Silver plan.

When compare with these, you paid 750rs including 200rs visiting charges,
Yes you paid normal amount no need to worry, it's normal price.

Which STB you received new or old ?

May be some problem due to ,call costomer care get full address of service centre and phone no as per Pin code.,take your set top box with remote,they will talk to customer care and upload your data,my Dish TV box deactivated for 12 years costomer care was telling to take new connection,but after visiting service centre they activated my box
