its just a marketing gimmick to attract more customers, they will add some FTA crap channels (mostly religious) and boast of the highest number of channel provided by a DTH in India.

Kindly note that the nodal officer specifically told 500 channels plus services. I confirmed him 389 current channels will be increased to 500 channels.

Bro D2h currently have 489 channels + services so only 11 will be added according to ur source
