Magnum opus Mughal-e-Azam’s magic will be recreated on Indian television. The project will be produced by the acclaimed writer Anirudh Pathak under his banner Writers Galaxy Studios.

Anirudh Pathak's next on Colors is one of the most anticipated projects and has the audience quite upped. The series, based on the memorable saga of Salim–Anarkali, will see TV actors Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria in the titular roles. It is titled Salim Anaarkali Daastan-e-Mohabbat.
