I don't really understand the point of launching these DD Channel. They don't even have 30 minutes of new content in any given day. All they have is classical shows which very little people watch. And old shows.

Earlier prasar Bharti said we are testing DD asam in DD NE channel..

If both are different then.. The third empty slot will be filled by DD Asam.

If same then rebrand of DD NE.
Let's see what happen bcs it is prasar Bharti open to acess but totally hidden broadcast policy.

DD NE is a failed concept in digital transmission era. We have 220 languages here in Northeast. Most population are alien to each other's state language. Where are they gonna find common ground? Most doesn't even speak Hindi or English either. DD NE is a wastage of money and bandwidth. DD should instead concentrate on bringing HD version of it's sport channel.

It's quite confusing I've watched this channel many times? Even I've mentioned this channel logo in one of the best Doordarshan logo.
May they were testing that?
