Can any 1 explain me how does e auction happens and what does it mean? please

no its good for small broadcaster and also viewers because.
1 big broadcaster not showing fresh cantent so its not good for free dish
2 small broadcaster showing now a day free content like dangal ,the q,azhad tv,its showing good and fresh so viewer watching them always
3rd big broadcasters gaming viewer always so now viewers sayings get out

Big broadcasters do have fresh content and even many recent shows in their content line up. Also these 4 channels from big broadcasters getting good ratings.

Big broadcaaters doing very bad game with free viewers. If they make the channels completely free for all platforms then any conflict will not happen between broadcasters &DTH. They should care about viewers. Viewers making the channels top 10 in trp list but they add or remove the channels with their own desire.

There r 2 possible reasons for big broadcasters pulling out channels from DD Free Dish

- More people who watch Hindi GEC chs particularly in poor, lower middle class and even middle class r shifting to DD Free Dish to watch content so broadcasters losing out on viewership on Pay TV platforms not only for these rerun chs but also possibly for flagship chs as many would have opted for them too.

- Cable / DTH Operators are crying foul that they should get these 4 chs free just like provided on Free Dish, broadcasters unlikely to do so as this may not lead to achieving the objective of upgrading subscribers towards pay tv chs. Afterall aim is that more subscribers should sample content on DD Free Dish then come onboard Pay TV platforms and opt for these chs by paying fee .... Post that try to attract this audience towards flagship chs. So they r trying to address the concern of Pay TV operators as well as move forward to achieve aim by dropping these chs from DD Free Dish. Also even if they go ahead and make these chs Free on Pay TV platforms then there is great risk of losing out audience for these chs which comes as a result of many people watching these chs as a result of getting them in bouquet and even after doing this shift of viewers towards DD Free Dish would not stop considering that on Pay TV platforms NCF is still applicable which is not the case with DD Free Dish.

Big Broadcasters should have Free Dish exclusive Hindi GEC, Music, Movies channels. Give some content on these chs while make other content restricted to pay tv platforms or have a delayed window on Free Dish chs for such content.They can always promote and give ads on these channels to tell viewers on DD Free Dish that to get more content upgrade to private Cable or DTH Platforms.
Current strategy of showing all content on chs present on DD Free Dish and then randomly pulling out channels to stop churn from pay tv subscriber base or loss in ad revenue is not right thing to do

These 4 big broadcast network going very high trp popularity but they don't know that soon they will go down may be out of top ten trp because their decision will be very bad to not join DD free dish as 2 year ago

If NTO 2.0 implemented then also people will switch to dd free dish even after pulling of channels by big broadcasters.... Becoz small broadcasters are doing pretty Good... People are feeling bored by channels of these broadcasters.. Every time they come with new serial after 4 or 5 months.... They are feeling insecure that is why are they are forced to take foolish steps..
