Anyone having idea why star utsav movies and sony wah have left out where as zee anmol cinema and both cineplex channels have retained their slots, and any idea about zee rang.

Because the Cable TV platforms/DTH providers had gone to court saying they are giving these channels free to DD free dish and charging to them. To avoid these situations they had dropped from DD freedish. The other channels will be FTA and will remain on DD freedish under the conditions that they are offered FTA to all the operators/DTH.Also one reason is people are moving towards DD freedish and avoiding pay channels /operators making a dent in their revenue.

its not pay and free issue its issue in pay tv trp and free tv trp all big broadcasters free to air channel are high trp in india so those are more revenue this time but pay tv have issues in trp so they maintain their position in trp board ,in this reason those decide those fta channel pull out

No I thought that all four of them collectively dropped their entertainment channels, but 2 of them kept their movie channels and other 2 removed them.
On the other hand zee had got several channels continued on dd free dish, and are going to launch a new one too.

Do read this article as it will answer all ur questions why big broadcasters took decision to pull out Hindi GEC channels from DD Free Dish, will this help them in any way or they stand to lose out and actually what should b the correct strategy for catering to different audience segments be it OTT, Pay TV, FTA. As i have said just like broadcasters r not willing to adopt NTO 2.0 in right spirit bcoz they seem to b not confident about content across their channels and lack proper content strategy for different genres and not reinventing with changing times for various channels/genres to cater to regular or untapped audience. Same ways they r still not understanding that there needs to a completly different approach and strategy for FTA and Pay TV audience, have dedicated exclusive channels on DD Free Dish and provide some content on it and have more diverse and appealing content on Pay TV channels thereby both audience can get wholesome entertainment as per option they chose. Many of FTA subscribers will automatically shift to Pay TV if they want more good content. Dropping channels from DD Free Dish thinking it will help get FTA subscribers onboard Pay TV platforms or stop migration of subscribers from Pay TV platforms to DD Free Dish is flawed approach
