HBN means hindi belt network.
Actually previously when only terestrial telecast of DD is avaikable evening hrs in hindi speaking states will able to see hindi programmes & other states shows regional programmes.

Now a days all states having seperate DD channels so only for sunday 4pm movie show HBN logo.
