ROI regional top ups were previously also there. But some changes have been made very recently in orderto attract more customers in ROI.
Changes:
1. Gujarati Regional Top Up removed. All Gujarati Channels activated in base packs.
2. Still no Regional Top Ups for Urdu, Bhojpuri & North -Eastern as all Urdu, North -Eastern & Bhojpuri Channels activated on all base packs.
3. Star Pravah, ABP Majha shifted to Marathi Regional Top Up & IBN Lokmat, the Marathi News Channel dropped from SUN DIRECT platform. (I don't think this act will attract more customers in Mumbai...............:wall)
New Top Ups: (Get any one free as per customer's choice.)
1. Bengali: Star Jalsha / ABP Ananda / Zee Bangla / ETV Bangla.
2. Odia: ETV Odia.
3. Marathi: Star Pravah / ABP Majha / Zee Marathi / Zee Talkies / ETV Marathi.
4. Punjabi: Zee Punjabi / Zee ETC Punjabi +.
5. Rajasthani: ETV Rajasthan.
The following channels will be available in all base packs irrespective of whatever regional top ups chosen:
DD -Bangla / Aakash Bangla / Sangeet Bangla / Star Utsav Bangla / Discovery Bangla* / NGC Bangla*/ DD -Odia / OTV / News Live / NE TV / Nepal 1 / DD -Sahyadri / Mi Marathi / DD - Girnar / ETV Gujarati / TV9 Gujarati / DD -Urdu / DD -Kashir / ETV Urdu / Mahuaa TV / DD -Punjabi / PTC Punjabi / PTC News / MH One Music.
Those customers who have already subscribed to Fox Traveller will also get Fox Traveller Bangla.
SUN DIRECT customers enjoy. But I would defintely like to say in conclusion the removal of IBN Lokmat will definitely go against SUN DIRECT.:angry As they are unable to add new ROI Channels they should not drop one.
