I think Goldmines Movies will be a new channel maybe for airing newer bollywood movies or maybe airing retro bollywood movies. Let us wait for more details. Could also be that Dhinchak 2 is being rebranded as Goldmines Movies and will air mix of bollywood movies + dubbed movies.

Goldmines Bollywood may continue to be available with slight changes in content strategy

Can someone explain why Airtel has a separate Dhinchaak 2 and Goldmines Bollywood? Which other DTH has both of these channels, since Tata Play has neither? What are the movies shown on each? Which one is rebranding to Goldmines Movies?

Goldmines Bollywood as name suggests is a pure play bollywood movie channel airing primarily Pre 2010 bollywood movies and few from past decade.

Dhinchak 2 is same as Goldmines airing only dubbed south indian movies but more focused on action genre within this segment. It was to be renamed Goldmines Action but same has been delayed bcoz of approvals still not obtained for the licence


Remember Dhinchak was rebranded as Goldmines Movies and then again renamed Goldmines. In mid 2021 Goldmines received licence for Goldmines Movies and it may be used to rename Dhinchak 2. Dhinchak and Dhinchak 2 licence were taken by Goldmines from some other company to launch their Hindi Movie Channels

Actually Dhinchaak 2 is Goldmines Bollywood only. Because both channels have separate licence so they're available .
