i think not possible to get on 6 feet as signal is weak compare to old frequency.
May be good quality 6 feet dish can lock.

u can use a string and measure it end to end... over d reflector surface...

I mean from d front, not from behind d dish... then use d string measured on a normal scale... and check for its size. :k
