Dish TV appoints Arun Kapoor as CEO

MUMBAI: Direct-to-home (DTH) operator Dish TV has appointed Arun Kapoor as the chief executive officer (CEO) with effect from 23 November. He replaces RC Venkateish who left the company in October.
This will be Kapoor’s second stint with Dish TV as CEO. He had served as Dish TV CEO from November 2006 – April 2008.
Incidentally, Kapoor was earlier the CEO of Subhash Chandra-promoted ZEEL’s distribution arm Taj TV before being replaced by Rajesh Sethi, who is also the CEO of Ten Sports.
Further, Kapoor has also been nominated as a ‘Key Managerial Personnel’ of the company.
