Totally dishtv channels will dumped, many unavailable channels and DishTV present unavailable channels in d2h will b added in s2 satellite i.e d2h box

yes d2h will be renamed as dish tv and in return dish tv will use d2h satellite, services and technology. I guess this their agreement as dish tv has purchase them now.

DishTV paid many d2h debts so in turn purchased
Is ST2 better that dish tv satellites?

to get both DTH satellite channel Monoblock LNB needed that can catch ST2 Nss6 signal but AS5 signal will be gone so some other type lnb needed who can st2-As5 signal...

I think there will no different satellites apart from technologies they use,capacity of Tps,nd coverage...ST2 has Good no of Tps i guess...

No its not better but Dishtv using NSS6/SES8 better have many Tps compare to st2
