Dish TV launched a Plug and Play DTH TV dongle

Why need a seperate dongle for Smart/Android TV. Just need one app for live channels and aggregated content (which they already have...watcho) May be for non-smart TVs whi want DTH via Internet instead Dish antenna?

Does anyone know how the DishTV Smart+ app works? The Android app is now available on the Play Store, and it mentions that a Dish TV dongle is required. However, the customer care team seems clueless about it. When I asked them, they said there is no such app on the Play Store.

DishTV Smart+ app now available for Android TVs, soon this will available in Market.
Big update is you can also watch TV Channels in it or Maybe you have to plug this in set top box directly
