DTH operator Dish TV has launched a new package called ‘Khushi’ for the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka with the aim of acquiring subscribers in digital addressable system (DAS) Phase III areas.
To cater to the specific needs of Telugu and Kannada audiences, Dish TV has created a unique plan that gives the user the freedom to choose and make their own monthly pack.
With Khushi, consumers in the three states can choose the all-new Khushi pack at Rs 99 with 150+ channels and services in digital quality including 45 South Indian channels (11 Telugu and five Kannada channels).
For customers who will switch from analogue cable to DTH, Dish TV is providing a custom-made 17 entertainment add-on packs ranging from Rs 25 to Rs 75 per month and regional add-ons starting from Rs 10 per month.
Besides, subscriber can enjoy wholesome Telugu and Kannada entertainment at as low as Rs 139 per month.
Popular kids add-on with complete Telugu entertainment is priced at Rs 164 per month, while wholesome Kannada entertainment is priced at Rs 169 per month.
The sports add-on pack with complete Telugu and Kannada entertainment is available at Rs 189 per month. Dish TV CEO Arun Kapoor said, “Over the years, we have observed the trend of viewer preferences prevailing in the Tier II and Tier III markets.
