MUMBAI: The merger of direct to home (DTH) operators Dish TV and Videocon d2h, which is in its final leg, is expected to bring cost synergy of Rs 1270 crore in FY19-20.
The synergy will be under five major heads including set top box (STB), interest expenses, administration expenses, content and back-end services like call center.

Bro will b clear within a year,where is company heading towards,don't expect everything happens overnight it will take time,both will start selling new latest setup boxes,new software, improved customer care etc etc it will take time may be next 2 years r imp for Dishtv Videocon,regarding channel addition it will start next month I think

May not change any thing immediately my guess,only customer care, dealers,back end expense etc may merge first to save cost,I doubt any change in Packs/cost will take place immediately,I think both will be continuing to operate as it is now,as both have different type of subscription Packs,one(D2h) is have HD access fee other (DishTv)is cheaper model like HD pack sold separately etc
