Dishtv Freezes/ hangs

I use Dish TruHD outside India . The signal strength and quality is very good.

I have not had any issues for a last 2 years, but recently, the set top box started to freeze frequently I have to remove the power supply and put it back to reboot the set top box each time the picture freezes.
this happens within 5mins of starting the box..
I am not able to watch continously for more than 7-10 mins

anyone know what the problem is.? and solution

I too use Dish HD outside India and had this same problem. Had posted about this in this forum and the suggestions from other members did not help. Finally ended up changing the HD set top box.

did u use same VC card and just changed the set top box only??
