Yeah You said Reliance own firms Jio Broadband and Telecom company acquiring whole broadcasting media company, later Viacom18 die for another media company like Disney acquired Star and later own UTV broadcasting business shutdowns.

From what i heard is they wont get everything. They will only get south channels and hotstar and merge will existing viacom18.

They wont have any JV.

Thread title itself misleading, nothing confirmed on acquisition or Joint venture, everyone knows who runs these news. moreover Viacom18 is joint venture media company, Already another thread running different name on same matter, if they acquire Title should be Reliance Industries talks to acquire or thread should merge with below thread name.

If they Acquire Sports, new owner have to pay those media Rights per match/season rights bill like EMI. Not only Star, Sony and Viacom18 too singing deal only for big media Rights, later paying bills.

Nothing confirmed official, these are just rumours just increase competition and Valuations. Even if Reliance acquire Star, Viacom18/Colors will shutdown like UTV. One can't run two media companies same time here India.

It is not worth paying that much. We will get a real valuation of Disney Star after Q3 or Q4 2024.

Yeah won't happen or maybe happen, your Saying Walt Disney local network valuation in India. what about Signed media Rights/Agreement those rights always per Match/Season value later paying bills like monthly installment.

even If they Acquire stake or merge then New entity combine all they owns IPL, ICC, BCCI, WPL, ISL, PKL, PL, CA, CSA, NBA, likely ACC and few more media properties added total Rights value gross $15 billion, then every year Breakeven/Target estimated 18K crores to 20K crores. Unlikely they pay such huge amount Reliance/Ambani with Disney file bankruptcy and later shutdown all their business in India.
