No not at all. If then paramount must be valued at a very high valuation. As they own largest chunk of viewership.
It all depends on revenue and investments.
Movies will increase revenue but not in USD
Now media industry (TV&OTT) is like Aviation, Its only fame, No body predicts how much profit earned from huge revenues!
Valuation always includes Market share Revenue subscription, Viewership, programs cost everything. without these things imagine even Enterr10 TV network too capable Acquire Viacom18 or Disney Star for whatever price.

Yup USD only these stake/Sell or Jv things smoothly happens in California, here Star management director/members report things only, Star have no idea whoom they will partner. If someone valued $ 3 to 5 billion everyone will shows interest such low price to buy, they acquired for it's original valuation $ 15 billion whole Star india business and assets without Disney India/UTV business, unlikely they sell low price. Reliance expecting same price as they own another scrap media which worth $ 3-5 billion only.

Definitely half of value is reduced due to market dynamics

You have no idea. When Disney was about to buy fox for 52 billion, many us market experts said that was too much. Later bidding war made it 71 billion. So you can argue all day, star india not worth 10 billion. It's around 5 billion. One can argue about cricket but nobody forced star to buy cricket rights at exaggerated price

As per report RIL values star at 10B$. Where is this 3-5 coming from.?

Im getting confused again. But the Rueters article says 7-8B$ for controlling stakes
As per Disney's 10B$, controlling stake will be at 7-8B$, but RIL at 3-4B$ for controlling stake of 5B$ value. So. it will be valuation differences 10B$ vs 5B$.

Lol you didn't understand plot, they're talking about valuation of Indian business. It's never include cricket or any other sports properties cost paying if someone buys or JV, they're signed sports agreement only, doesn't mean alredy paid in 5/10 biilion. If Disney continue or whoever buys, it's their responsibility paying bills after every bilateral series, Tournament or any other sports during rights tenure.
