Comcast now owns 75% of Sky. With remaining 25% stake to be taken over soon.

What will be the effect on Tata Sky as TS is a JV between Tata and 21st CF. ???

Does the 30% stake of 21CF in TS gets automatically transferred to Comcast ??? or will a new JV have to be made again ???

Fox partnered with tata in Sky label. So Tata sky stake will go to comcast. Either tatasky will remain same by breaking relation with Star india and other fox properties or a new JV will start.
If Comcast decided to continue Sky to partner with tata, then tatasky approach towards star will be same as of other networks.

Tata SKY won't have a Comcast stake, Being a JV between Tata and 21st CF (via Star India), it has branding license of SKY, now that 21st CF would Exit SKY, SKY branding in Tata SKY would cease to exist.

How? It is b/w Sky and Tata, not Star and Tata. Until now the parent (21CF) is the same. But now 21CF will have neither. Disney takes Star and Comcast takes Sky. So Tata Sky will have to split from Star.

"Tata® Tata Sons Limited. All Sky Trademarks, and any intellectual property they contain, are owned by Sky International AG. Used under License by Tata Sky Limited."

This is what written in TS website.

I think the stake in JV will get transferred to Comcast.

Its between Tata and 21CF, sky was used as a brand since 21CF also owned sky.

Now since sky is gone to Comcast, will a JV be have to done between Tata and Comcast? Also can 21CF continue to use sky brand even after they are no longer the owners?
