UTV HD was also a result of their strategy to expand by combining synergy of two companies. Also now UTV Movie Channels are not editing kissing scenes in movies aired on their channel, possibly hinting that Star India people are managing these channels and implementing their policy here too.

I guess Star Gold Select SD/HD will shut down soon and it's licence will be used for Thrills SD/HD or there is another possibility that only one of thes feeds will be closed and its licence used for Thrill HD while Movies OK would get rebranded to Thrill SD. Star Utsav Movies will make way for Star Gold Family post it's transition to a pay channel, UTV Movies & Action will continue catering to classic bollywood movie and dubbed english movie audience.
 
Its a good thing that Uday Shankar will continue to rule Star Asia along with Disney's channels.So Star India's value will be kept same and other Disney india channels came under this.Instead If Disney go for a complete alteration then it may lead to the drop of Star, since Disney's tv channels are not performing well.

Disney's long-awaited acquisition of Fox could be completed in approximately one month.

As the company begins to renew its television distribution deals, new reports have arisen that the planned acquisition, which was officially announced at the end of last year, is internally expected to be finalized by the last week of January.

Star brand is very strong in india so it will be hard for Disney to kill it. Situation is same for their streaming service hulu, even if they bring it to india it will be hard for them to make it primary brand as Hotstar is miles ahead in race
