Star won't telecast old movies in old ratio on HD channels (letter boxed). At the same time, they are reluctant to remaster old movies to fix the ratio. Bad strategy. Sun network telecasts old movies in wrong ratio on HD channels (expected behaviour) which I think is better than Star's strategy.

Bro Asianet is the one which owns the biggest library of Malayalam movies .They have remastering project one time when Asianet HD was launched even remastered late 90movies into HD.But now they are doing nothing and telecasting even the remastered movies
