RIL just need to submit the docs there is no need to pull down the stocks and re enter, unlike tv18 and network18 merger. So all depends on CCi approval, from it its just days to wrap up. But due to election we might see delays but its Ambani

It will benefit both companies anna and it is a merger not acquisition hence both companies will continue to have independent decision making power on various things while also mutually agreeing / working together on other fronts to drive overall growth.....remember in the board Disney will be having equal say

Definitely it will not work buddy viacom18 doesn't know how to manage movie channels their channels PQ pathetic except colors. Surely Disney-Star channels will face problems. Either it will shutdown or it will be revamped.

It will be lead by Uday Shankar the merged entity now from Bodhi Tree who will make sure that all is well. Now that Disney is planning to dilute its stake and reduce India exposure and reliance buying out Paramount's stake hope the merged entity leverage each other strengths .
