Doordarshan is testing 14 new channels on DVB T2 Digital Terrestrial Transmission in Delhi. DD India added. Most of the test channels showing DD National as of now.

Ya.in kolkata here.they are testing 13 new channel during afternoon.Including 3 radio and DD HD,dd india,ls,rs,dd kisan and repeat of the 5 regular channels.

If your TV is DVB T2 ready, only indoor antenna required which may cost Rs. 600-800 only.

Earlier they were showing only five channels on 578.006 MHz all 14 new channels are on 538.005 MHz.
Video quality of all of the channels is 576i but one channel is on 480p.

In chennai, they are testing DD Yadagiri HD, Manoranjan Movies HD, Housefull Action HD. I believe all may be upscaled. As of now only the Names are displayed and no telecast on those channels. The remaining 5 SD video channels and 3 radio channels works fine.

Great news, it means channels other than Doordarshans own channels are coming soon on this platform.
