Not bro, no need of mono block LNB because both satellite is co located at 83 degree. If they going to use st2 then ts user need of mono block LNB.

Our satellite is not carry huge tp like foreign sat. Because of power problem.

{india has habit to every thing use in low power. So we faces loadshieding problem in space.}

So how D2h got ST2,Airtel got SES7?

Exactly...... if D2h & Airtel can; then why can't T(S :wall

Airtel Digital TV, encountered problem on its Isro-made Insat 4 CR satellite last year and had to shift to a foreign satellite SES-7. ....

“We are ready to pay money to foreign satellites which are available over India. But we are not getting the permission from Isro. ...” Harit Nagpal, CEO, Tata Sky and president of DTH association told FE recently.

:skd

as tata sky sign a contract with ISRO in 2009. According to policy dth should get tp within 24 moths and hence Gsat 10 was set to launch in 2011 but we knows our ISRO is not good of scientists so it delays till date but airtel and d2h has move because there is no satellite planning and they need urgent satellite to avoid black out like sun. ohh then it is good, we need not need mono block lnb if both INSAT 4A and GSAT-10 ts operates from Dec'12 onwards. only if they buy v d2h as you had told they may use ST2 satellite we have to use monoblock lnb.

wow good news then ts will be then using 3 satellites from Jan'13 onwards.
