At a time when DD Free Dish management cites lack of satellite tp capacity to increase number of channels on their dth platform, what is the logic in allowing a single cash-rich entity to book more than one slot thru auction and allowing them to show the same channel in all the slots ???

Yes, the entity I am talking about is SONY and channel being shown on more than one slot is SonyMix. This amounts to hoarding of satellite capacity, thereby frustrating viewers who have been eagerly awaiting some other channels,

Imagine if some 6 or 10 such cash-rich entities do the same thing !! Your entire DD Free Dish could end up showing some 6 or 10 channels only on all available dth slots.

If it is legal, as long as DD Free Dish gets paid for the slot, its also going to be a self-destructive suicide pill for "DD Free Dish" dth service

Shocking part is, this issue is not being discussed on this forum :-/

Chill yaar.

Its just Test Channels.

Other TEST CHANNEL showing DD 1, DD NEWS, DD INDIA etc. What you say about this?

I think sony is getting set 1 licence for mib,
its not lounching yet slot is allredy purchase.

Test channels are named Test 1, Test 2 ... and carry only channels from DD stable till they are auctioned and allotted.
SonyMix appears in two slots (10990 V 27500 22k off) and (11570 V 27500 22k off). Both these tp's are of DD Free Dish. Channel names too are labelled "SonyMix", which is done only if they are allotted, after successful auction.
