Now we have a good news for all the K serial fans. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress Tasneem Sheikh, who played the role of Mohini Virani is all set to return to TV. She is making a comeback with Nivedita Basu’s show ‘Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi’.

While confirming the news actress said that for her, family is priority and that is the reason she rejected many offers. Now as her daughter is seven-year-old, she has taken the decision to do the show.

Tasneem also added that she trusts the script and character. While praising about the show, she said that she could have waited for another nine years for such a brilliant project.

MUMBAI: Hindi GEC &TV will launch ‘Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi’ from 6 February. The fictional show will air every Monday–Friday at 7.30 pm.

‘Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi’ will replace the channel’s comedy series ‘Happy Hours’.

Produced by Nivedita Basu’s The House of Originals, the fictional drama will feature Sonali Nikam, Abhishek Malik, Tassnim Sheikhand Himani Shivpuri in pivotal roles and Rupin Pahwa, Sneha Gupta and Latika Gill in supporting roles.

‘Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi’ revolves around a 24-year-old Suman Parmar (Sonali Nikam) who lives with her mother-in-law Kalawati (Himani Shivpuri), two younger sisters-in-law and a 4-year-old son. Upon her mother-in-law’s insistence and in a bid to support the family after her husband’s death, Suman pursues MBA and is juggling between home, her responsibilities and college. While studying, she receives a marriage proposal from her classmate Ranveer Mittal (Abhishek Malik) which turns her life upside down as she now has another mother-in-law Sindhura Mittal (Tassnim Sheikh) to manage.
