MUMBAI: Endemol Shine Group, which brings together Endemol, Shine and Core Media, has announced its newly combined format slate heading to Cannes, France for the television trade event MipTV 2015 this month.
This year’s launch of Endemol Shine Group has brought a global library of shows and formats under one roof.
Among the company’s highlights are non-scripted formats including ‘Big Brother’, ‘Masterchef’, ‘Junior Masterchef’, ‘The Biggest Loser’ and ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’.
More recent returning shows include ‘The Island’, the survival format, which has just been commissioned by NBC in the U.S. following its success in the UK where it is returning for a second season on Channel 4, and ‘The Brain’, the cerebral talent show format from Germany.
Making its international debut at MipTV 2015 is ‘Bullseye’ from Endemol Shine North America, an exhilarating challenge series where teams become human darts as they fly, slide or fall as close as physically possible to a target.
Contestants could find themselves acting as a human slingshot or even jumping between two speedboats as they fling towards a major cash prize. Bullseye will premiere in the US this May on Fox.
Also launching in Cannes for the first time is ‘Stripped’, a factual entertainment series from Endemol Shine Nordics which challenges people to live for 30 days without any possessions.
Everything they own is locked away, revealing their relationship with objects and belongings.
