Bcoz English Movie Channels are not earning much revenue,,if u notice there r hardly any ads and few people subscribe to them so subscription revenue too is not that much hence delaying premiere helps reduce rights acquisition cost incase of big films

Now with the DisneyStar-Reliance merger completed i am expecting Star Movies Select rebranding to happen very soom and i think then we shall see pending Universal Pictures New Hollywood Movies premiering on it as same has been pending for last 3 or 4 years,may be it will named Universal Movies....i hope a new channel for Foreign Language Cinema is also launched much like UTV World Movies, Lumiere Movies.... Also hope they launch a English Movie Channels dedicated to airing Pre 2010 hollywood movies and name it Star Movies Rewind, i feel older movies much more fun to watch be it storytelling, acting, direction and even the nostalgia associated with them
