If your box is more than 5 year old and get defective then Tata Sky is Charging Rs. 1,000/- to replace your box and they are giving full set (ie box, remote, av cable and adaptor) New box

Yes, but its not new. If you replace your stb with newer one then 1000 otherwise you will charge onlyl 500 for old stb. Just confirm by local tata office.
