MUMBAI: The cumulative reach of the first 49 Fifa World Cup games is 44.5 million viewers in the CS 4+ All India market, with Sony Six, Sony Aath and Sony Pix managing a reach of 38.5 million, 8.3 million and 5.3 million viewers respectively.

As per TAM data sourced from the industry, Brazil vs Chile was the highest-rated match on CS 4+ All India delivering combined ratings of 4,728 TVTs. In WB market, this particular game rated 2,354 TVTs.

The ratings of primetime matches at 9:30 pm have shown a 66 per cent increase in West Bengal compared to 7:30 pm games. In Kolkata, it has grown 63 per cent, while in 1 million+ towns and .1 to 1 million towns, it has increased by 58 per cent and 70 per cent respectively.

Sony Aath rated an average of 324 TVTs for CS 4+ TG in the West Bengal market. For CS Males 15+ TG in WB, the event rated an average of 179 TVTs on the channel.

The cumulative reach of the first 28 games on Sony Aath in West Bengal was 7.5 million viewers for CS 4+ TG.

The first 49 games’ combined ratings on the network was 0.57 for CS 15+ Male All India, with Sony Six, Sony Aath and Sony Pix registering ratings of 0.50, 0.17 and 0.08 respectively.

The combined TVTs of the first 49 matches among CS 15+ Female West Bengal market increased by 14 per cent with 190 TVTs compared to average TVTs 167 for 2010 edition of the soccer World Cup.

Cumulative reach for the current edition of the World Cup CS 15+ Female West Bengal market increased by 7 per cent with 4.2 million viewers, compared to 3.9 million viewers in the previous edition.
