Firmware has not been updated but only new service had been added under dishtv information section which was earlier not available

the software which ur gettin to see on ur Dishtv is a programm/software which u can access but can't edit or make changes as it is on read only memory.. to bring new options in software one needs to upgrade a firmware (in simple word 'software'.. )
