Volume got reduced due to format changed from aac to mpeg(mp4 to mp1).

Why format changed it was an.old format is it? Or thet revert back mpeg4 soon

Dishtv using Mpeg format. May be old dishtv set boxes are not supporting AAC audio.

You are technically right, aac is higher encoding technology compared to MPEG for audio.

Yes, in addition to ECM changes, AAC audio removed and MPEG audio added for some channels. You can check the list in last scan results. I haven't posted it as separate news.

Yes it looks like, but because this changes d2h has lost it uniqueness of high quality, now it degraded its quality.

No, AAC is the latest encoding d2h stb do support new technology, now they degraded to MPEG to match dish tv stb.
