Tata Play Dropped Five Channels from Its Platform.

1. WOMAN - 224 - English GEC - Discontinued From Broadcaster End.
2. Desh News - 537 - Hindi NN - Non Renewal Of Carriage Deal.
3. FM News - 572 - Hindi NN - Non Renewal Of Carriage Deal.
4. Vistara News - 1662 - Kannada News - Discontinued From Broadcaster End.
5. Tabbar Hits - 1910 - Punjabi Movies - Non Renewal Of Carriage Deal.

After watching so many threads /posts about Tata Play running scrolls about removal on so many channels and actually removing these channels i just tend to remember many of our memebers who used to poke fun at Airtel Digital Tv when scrolls were seen running on many channels and these members used to say things like "Airtel will slowly drop all channels from the platform " but now they r absolutely silent

Reality is that Airtel Digital TV has always managed to renew maximum carriage fee agreements with various broadcasters so removal rate is minimal and ofcourse when Airtel adds FTA News Channels these very members again poke fun but when Tata Play does so they applaud the step. @Rajkumar

@dino29 enough is enough its your habit to bring ADTV in all Tata Play threads now. How many FTA channels does ADTV add in a year ? Tata Play Have added more than 70+ FTA Channels in last 1 years so obviously some channels will have non carriage fee renewal. Also many FTA channels are shutdown so what they'll renew here ?

I don't think CC can give true reasons for any channel Removal activities. These are handled by upper management and they definitely not share why channels got removed. Looks like CC giving fake reasons to all.

They've always given two reasons if Channel is shutdown they'll say its shutdown from Broadcaster end n another one is if not renewed than they'll say dropped from Broadcaster end . Hope you got it .

absolutely agree worst among all DTHs. only punjabi news channels available, all good music channels removed.
