FreeDish creates record, 11 slots sold for Rs 851 million

Doordarshan’s FreeDish earned a record Rs 851 million in the 36th e-auction, auctioning eleven slots including three news channels.
Among the eight general entertainment channels, the highest bid received wasfor Rs 84 million.
Channels that have succeeded in getting the slots include two GEC channels of the Star India group

Congratulations DDFD :clap for earning good from slots. Two GEC of Star India, can we expect Star Utsav Sports or Star Sports Utsav
bcoz, showing LIVE sports on FTA channel is not big issue as people almost watch India matches on DD1 on DDFD So, there is no loss to Star Sports Network if they telecast it also on a FTA channel . But, can GEC slots can be given to Sports Genre?
Hmm... it may also possible these channel would be sub-channel for South Indian channel or Bangla channels. Eagerly waiting for these channels to come live.
