Gadar 2 | Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel | Anil Sharma

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed Gadar 2 with a U/A certificate. However, the makers had to accept 10 cuts. The scene of the rioters chanting 'Har Har Mahadev’ have been removed. The ‘Shiv Tandav’ shlokas were replaced with the song line ‘Akhand hai…who sang hai’.

The line in the thumri song ‘Bata De Sakhi’ was replaced by ‘Bata De Piya Kahaan Bitaayi Shaam’. A dialogue ‘Dono ek hi toh hai. Baba Nanak ne bhi yahin kaha hai’ was replaced with ‘Ek noor te sab jag upaje. Baba Nanak ne bhi yehi kaha hai’ with references to the holy Quran and Bhagavad Gita.

In for first day first show in Bangalore.
First half is good. For 30 mins there’s no Sunny Deol, but Utkarsh Sharma did absolutely good acting so far. No overacting like the “Cheetde” part in the trailer

Thank God 🙏🏻

Just two things you won’t like in this movie: Manish Wadhwa as a villain has poor dialogue delivery, and the nephew of Darmiyan Singh tries to add forced comedy which doesn’t add anything to the story.

The only other dialogue you won’t like is the “Cheetde” part as shown in the trailer. Too over the top, otherwise Utkarsh Sharma did full justice to his role.

Sunny Deol as usual great as Tara Singh, nothing to add there. Ameesha Patel reduced to a side actor in this film spending more than half her screen time in prayers.
