Ignore those guys. D2H users knows the facts whether it is good or bad. There are some bad facts as well in Videocon D2H and we, all D2H customers, agreeing to that. Those guys who are not using D2H but other DTH are just defaming and nothing else.

Let us not pay attention to them in future.

Well, I had to check my account and so posted two good news threads..

Now a bad news for me..

While checking I found that the account validity got reduced by one day. Previously it was 21-Oct-2014 and now it is 20-Oct-2014.

I did a LTR for 6 months on March 2014. Recently after price increase on New South Platinum HD pack, they sent me a message on STB saying Price Protection ensured.

Now I don't know the reason for this change in due date.

Whether it is because of D2H Cinema added in the back end and amount deducted from my balance (though website is not showing add-on)?

Is it because of Free Jaya topup addition?

Don't know anything.

Anyway I sent an email to CC and Nodal officer asking the reason behind this. I didn't mention about D2H Cinema or Jaya add-on. But mentioned about their message ensuring Price Protection.

Waiting for their reply.

First ever bad experience with D2H.

So D2H has corrected the mistake and added the amount back and the due date is changed now as earlier.

But they replied with the below line.

"Please be informed that any changes in base package or add-on pack will affect the due date."


So, I replied again the below and waiting for their further reply.

Ok. Just got a call from D2H Delhi office and they explained me that the "sentence" is actually meaning to downgrade/upgrade the package by customer end and not referring to the price increase. So price protection will be there as per the conversation.

Got a message from d2h that defective STB replacement charges reduced to 150 INR + service charge with 6 month warranty.

I have been using New South Gold HD which costs me ~400 with tax. Still my plan is in active not changed. I have seen some new PIX HD channels added, so when I checked their site plans are changed. So can anyone give me brief intro on these plans and which one can I move to get new HD channels my budget ~400 only
