still I am getting SD English Movies

Today morning when i switched on my stb my tv showed a resolution of 1080p instead of 1080i on top left corner when videocon
logo was booting .
did it happen to anyone else?

thats beacuse of HDMI connection .

I haven't seen what the quality is like with other provider's but in d2h some of the SD channels look like upconverted 720p , at a little distance you can't tell the difference between HD and SD channels.

yes it's true. earlier some sd channels very bad like ten cricket. now it's very good .
