This rule is for everyone. If you keep ur box off for more than 180 days then it will be closed forever and you have to buy a new box. Now my friend have to buy a new HD box I suggested him to buy Dish TV HD or Videocon d2h HD

It seems to me like Reliance Digital is not interested at all in DTH business. I activate my Sun Direct box after 2 years without any issue, I know a friend who activated his Dish TV box after almost 6 years, I by myself purchased an Airtel Digital box which was closed for more than 2 and half year and just by adding money and a refresh it started working. Even Airtel Digital gave me double benefit and gave me bonus amount of same balance in my account. On other hands, we have Reliance Digital who are not having new HD and SD boxes and also not activating old boxes which are not recharged for more tha 180 days. Just imagine new boxes are not available and old boxes cannot be activated again
